Roy Hachache, PhD, MSc
Chapter Chair
With more than 25 years of experience in security, information technology, and business leadership, Roy Hachache has worked with organizations across North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Latin America. Throughout his career, he has managed business development and strategic partnerships across more than 14 countries, working with diverse cultures and international teams to deliver innovative security solutions and long-term customer success.
As a Channel Business Manager at Milestone Systems, Roy works with end users, consultants, technology partners, and system integrators to develop integrated solutions spanning physical security, cybersecurity, video management, artificial intelligence, and analytics. Passionate about advancing the security profession, Roy is an ISACA Ambassador and is actively involved in industry initiatives that promote collaboration, knowledge sharing, and innovation. He is committed to supporting the security community through education, volunteer leadership, and mentoring. Roy holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, specializing in data mining and cybersecurity, and a Master of Science in Computer Science and Telecommunications. He believes that strong partnerships, continuous learning, and collaboration are key to building a safer and more resilient future.

Jason Knight
Chapter Secretary
A Senior Leader in Corporate Security and Emergency Management at WorkSafeBC, where he has strengthened organizational safety through strategic initiatives like integrating threat management with claims systems, enhancing emergency response capabilities. With over 15 years in security leadership, his expertise spans aviation operations, critical infrastructure protection, and emergency preparedness, honed at Victoria International Airport and Securiguard Services. Certified in Safety Management Systems, Jason has managed province-wide crises, led multi-disciplinary teams, and designed security solutions for sectors like transportation and cannabis production. Notably, he also brings 30+ years as a freelance voice-over artist and stunt performer, blending creativity with crisis management. His diverse career underscores a commitment to resilience, innovation, and safeguarding communities.

Natalie Archutowski
Secretary
Security professional with extensive experience in intelligence analysis, threat assessment, and emergency management. She specializes in strategic security communications and risk mitigation across diverse operational environments. With a background in both military and corporate security, she brings a disciplined, mission-focused approach to every challenge. Natalie is skilled at translating complex security issues into actionable strategies for stakeholders.
Her leadership and analytical capabilities support resilient, informed decision-making in high-risk contexts.

Ian Henderson
Chapter Treasurer
Worked in the security industry for over 25 years, holding a range of roles across training, quality assurance, and personnel and account management. As a Field Operations Manager with Paladin Security, Ian oversees contract security operations at a number of locations and provides training in several areas including control tactics and service delivery. Ian has been involved with ASIS International for the past 15 years, and has worked with the NextGen (previously Young Professionals) Committee since its inception in 2012. Ian currently oversees the NextGen program across Canada, supporting security professionals under 40 in their career development and professional development.

brian ison

Started working in security and risk management over 20 years ago when he was responsible for community policing in Southwest Vancouver in cooperation with the Vancouver Police Department. His career led him to work in risk management with the credit unions in British Columbia and Ontario, providing risk assessments for credit union properties and quantifying security from an insurance perspective. He has written security, business continuity, and risk management manuals for the credit union system across Canada and has managed contract security accounts for a large, multi-national security company. As a licensed security consultant, he has conducted in excess of 200 vulnerability assessments for clients ranging in size from storefronts to residential buildings to sports stadiums. Brian has a degree in Psychology from the University of British Columbia, is a certified CPTED practitioner (Levels I and II), a Certified Protection Professional (CPP), and a Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE). Formerly the Assistant Regional Vice President for Western Canada, he is currently the Chapter Chair for the ASIS Canadian Pacific Chapter, providing and promoting continuing education opportunities for risk and security professionals in British Columbia and the Yukon.
