June 4, our Chapter sponsored and supported this forum at The University of British Columbia — an exceptional and timely event designed specifically for frontline and operational security professionals. With a sold-out venue and a lineup of phenomenal speakers, the forum clearly exceeded its three core goals:

The day began with opening remarks from UBC President Benoit-Antoine Bacon, a meaningful land acknowledgement by Laurence Paul, and a special guest appearance by Terry Yung, adding great depth to the forum.

May 15, Thank you to Alert Enterprise for partnering with ASIS Canadian Pacific Chapter 190 for another engaging monthly luncheon in #Vancouver Terminal City Club!

It was fantastic to bring together our local security community for a dynamic session on the future of #Mobile_Credentials and workforce security. Special thanks to Michelle (Geckler) Killion, Matt Bennett, and Reta Booij from Alert Enterprise for leading the discussion, and to everyone who joined us to connect, collaborate, and share ideas.

April 9, What an incredible experience speaking at the Vancouver Executives Association (VanEx) with ASIS Canadian Pacific Chapter 190.

We presented on “From Cyber to Physical to Border #Security: Building a Resilient Future for Canada 🍁”, where we explored 🇨🇦 Canada’s most pressing security challenges, including:

Cyber-physical convergence and the evolving threat landscape
Securing critical infrastructure against both digital and physical threats
Strategies for bridging gaps between cybersecurity and physical security teams
